Modify The Airbox

Easy Modification 

To Increase Airflow 

 

 

 

 

We all seem to have the desire to have the best performance we can get out of our motorcycles.
Long before commercially available airboxes were available for the 1300 I wanted to
improve my ride. I removed the airbox and, after close examination, I decided it would be
a simple task to drill some holes in the front of the box. I then created a drill template.
Modification is simple. Just print the template on your PC printer, cut it out, and tape it
to the airbox. I used one of the press to punch drill punches to mark the holes and then
drilled them with a 1/8” drill bit.
