Bleeding the brakes

Here's an excellent article on reverse bleeding brakes.

While we're at it, let's list the EBC numbers for the brake pads:

Front pads are EBC # FA199HH

Rear  pads are EBC # FA319/2HH

JeffRoe said "For most people I wouldn't recommend

HH on the rear. Stock pads may be better."

However, CR said:

"Sorry, I don't like HH on the front or rear for the street.

Yep, they brake great (they're designed for the race track, right)

IMHO, a better pad for the street is the 'organic' version.

For me the EBC organics wear longer, don't gall the rotors like the HH's do

and work well when towing cargo and camping trailers."

Well, let's just check the EBC web site and see what they say.

First of all, EBC says the HH pads are rated for the street.

Under the organic pads, the disc damage is rated as Low.

Under the HH pads, the disc damage is rated as Minimal.

My opinion is that Minimal is lower than Low.

So, my thoughts are the HH is the way to go.
